STANDARD STAINING JAR This jar has two lids, a tight-sealing one for evaporation-proof storage when the staining dish is not inserted, and a processing lid that has an opening for the staining dish handle. Jar and lids are constucted of polymethylpentene (TPX); the 20-slide staining dish and removable handle are constructed of polypropylene. Microwave oven compatible for up to 5 minutes at a time.

The compact staining kit includes a stain/reagent bath with lid, 25-slide staining rack with handle, and drying tray. The polyoxymethylene (POM) constructing is suitable for xylene and alcohol (not phenol), most microwave procedures (for up to 5 minutes at a time), and may also be frozen.

The bath uses only 150ml of stain. The tight-sealing lid is light-proof to make the kit appropriate for autoradiography applications.

The drying tray has a special dessicant compartment behind the slide holder.

This 100-slide capacity box accommodates four of the staining racks included with the universal staining kit. Numbered labels with 4x25 divisions and writing space. Made of polystyrene.

HELLENDAHL-TYPE JAR

The "Hellendahl-type" jar has eight groves that accommodate up to sixteen 3"x1" slides back-to-back cover included. Constructed of polymethylpentene (TPX). Microwave oven compatible for up to 5 minutes at a time.
