FOR SMALLER SPECIMENS Evergreen's biopsy cassettes are identical to our 4230-series processing/embedding cassettes but with 1mm drain holes instead of larger-sized slits to minimize the need to wrap smaller specimens and to help prevent sample loss. High-density acetal material is resistant to histological sovents and decalcifying solutions and keeps specimens submerged.

Covers hold specimens securely in place but may be opened and closed as often as necessary. After processing, covers may be detached and mated to new coverless cassettes to reduce both costs and plastic waste.

TIME-SAVING OPTIONS

Manual users may order cassettes with covers attached, while users of computer-based systems my order the cassettes and covers separately.

By printing the cassettes before attaching the covers, 100% of the front surface may be used for labeling. After printing, covers attach easily for processing.
