15 ml centrifuge tubes are precision-molded from premium-grade, chemically inert plastics. Polystyrene tubes are glass clear, and our new formulation of polypropylene is nearly transparent.

Accurate, easy-to-read graduations are molded in at 0.1 ml intervals from 0-1 ml and at 0.5 intervals from 1-5 ml, and every 1 ml from 5-15. The outside diameter is 17 mm and the overall length is 122 mm.

STRENGTH YOU CAN RELY ON

Polystyrene tubes withstand up to 3000 x g and are appropriate for use with mild acidic (except higher alcohols), and salt.

Polypropylene tubes withstand up to 5400 x g and are appropriate for use with stronger acids (except oxidizing acids or alkalis, alcohols, organic solvents, chlorinated and aromatic hydrocarbons (except xylene), and ketones.

LEAKPROOF SCREWCAPS

Screwcaps have molded-in sealing rings and heavy-duty threads. Our Quality Assurance Program features vacuum chamber testing to ensure that these caps close tightly every time.

ORGANIZE BY COLOR

Color-code non-sterile tubes by specifying your choice of six colors of screwcaps (minimum order: 10 cs/color). Sterile tubes, except special orders, are available with green caps only.

CONVENIENT PACKAGING

Sterile tubes with screw caps are packaged in recloseable 50-tube foam traypacks (10 trays/case) or in 25-tube bags (20 bags/case). Non-sterile tubes with screwcaps are sold in 1000 count bulk units.

Unthreaded, non-sterile tubes are available in 125 tube-drawer boxes (4 boxes/case) or 1000 count bulk units. Two types of polyethylene stopper caps for use with unthreaded tubes are also available. All tubes are unassembled.

NEW CLEAR MATERIAL

Polypropylene tubes are nearly transparent and withstand up to 6000 x g. appropriate for use with solvents, alcohols, chlorinated & aromatic hydrocarbons (except xylene), and ketones.

UNIQUE FEATURES

Choose tubes with conical bottoms or freestanding octagonal bases that lock into our special tray for one-handed operation. Freestanding 30 ml tubes are also available with in-cap sporks.

MULTIPLE USES

Ideal for general purpose laboratory work. Also useful as leakproof secondary containers for shipping etiological specimens.

Choose from gamma-irradiated sterile tubes in twenty 24-tube trays or fifty 10-tube bags and non-sterile tubes in economical 1000-count bulk quantities. All tubes are unassembled.
