The QuickVue+ Strep A Test allows the rapid detection
of group A streptococcal antigen directly from throat
swabs and beta-hemolytic colonies on blood agar plates.
The simplicity of a rapid test is combined with the accuracy

Clearly distinguishable +/- endpoint and two reagent extraction
make testing easy for anyone in your office or lab. A
Test Complete indicator appears in about 5 minutes to
let you know the test can be read. Overall accuracy of
the test is 98%, with a sensitivity of 95% and specificity
of 98%. The built-in controls satisfy CLIA requirements
for daily QC. The kit stores at room temperature and contains
positive and negative external controls. |
