May 2008, Quidel Corporation and bioMérieux entered into a long-term global marketing strategic alliance. 

May 2009, bioMérieux Canada chose to opt out of this marketing arrangement with Quidel Corp.

May 2009, BioPacific Diagnostic Inc is the main distributor in Canada for the Quidel QuickVue rapid tests. All QuickVue product numbers will revert back to the Quidel catalogue numbers:
